THE GOOD LIFE

Tiffany went shopping today and guess what we got a new bed. It is so cozy and just in time we are pretty sure fall is right around the corner. We have only had rain for the last week and it has been nasty. Don't Cup & Muf look adorable in these pics. I can't wait to put their new sweaters on them when it gets cooler.

ON THE GO!

I have had such a good weekend off from work. Tiff and I went to the Car Show to see Kristin Karen, & Kylie. Kristin made these really great canvas wall hangings. Tiff and I talked about how we always would go to the car show as kids. I think every now and again she likes this small town. We then went to Bowling Green had a great lunch, got pedicures and even did some Christmas shopping. We got soaked, but we kept on going on. We went back and grilled out with the girls. They got haircuts and so did Tiff. It is very hard to get pics of them lately, they are not good about staying still! Of course Cup needed to see what was in all those bags!

SIMPLE THINGS

It has been a while since my last post. There has been so much going on with work and spending time with family the last few weeks. There are so many things to be so thankful for and I feel truly blessed. I have really been busy researching and doing a lot of thinking and praying about Adoption. I feel really strongly about this and feel God is calling me to embark on this journey. I know several people that have adopted and with our mom being adopted I have always felt very strongly about making a difference in the life of a child. I really feel it is time to get started. I have got to spend quality time with Tiff and Granny this last week. I have to say I have always tried to treasure time spent with Family, but lately it is so very important to take the time and slow down and really treasure the time we have together. I thought about that the entire way home after I took Granny out to supper. I truly enjoy spending time with her I love to hear her stories and love that she appreciates the simple things in life like me. I think she gives the best advice and truly cares about others. I hope I can be like her someday. I feel so lucky to have a home to come to at the end of a long day. Then I have two little puppies run up to me like I am the greatest thing in the world. Having them has taught me so much about unconditional love. There is nothing sweeter. The pics are from the last week give them a toy, sock, and a hamper who needs anything else.

FAMILY TIME + BIRTHDAY = FUN

I have had such a great weekend, I got to see my nephew Brice catch two great passes at the football game Friday Night. I actually got a weekend off and It couldn't have come a better time. Lindsey turned 18 on Friday. I can't believe she is already 18 years old it just doesn't seem possible. I went and picked up Granny we had such a great day. We went to eat lunch and then back to the house to see Cup & Muf, and then on to Rindy's for Lindsey's Birthday Party. It was great to spend time with family and Todd grilled some great steaks and of course we had some great birthday cake. Daddy and Brice of course kept everyone laughing. There is nothing better than family time and it was great to see Lindsey. I know she has only been gone two weeks, but it seems longer. We will all get together again tonight for Sunday Supper three nights on a row with family I am happy to have these get togethers. One more thing after I dropped off Granny
I was talking to Tiff on the phone and guess what I see blue lights in the rear view mirror. Thank goodness though he didn't give me a ticket. Probably because I freaked out and he just laughed and said Have a good night, Thank goodness!

MEMORY LANE

I wanted to make a post on August 21st, but if you know me then you know that I am not computer savvy. Since I am being honest I am not any type of electronics savvy, but I will figure it out sooner or later. Maybe the blog world will help with that as long as Tiff has patience and allows question and answer sessions. Anyways, I can't believe that Cup and Muf are 3 years old today. It seems just like yesterday they came into our lives. My goodness time flys by so quickly. Maybe this is another sign of how old I am getting. We didn't have a party yet, but hopefully when time allows will get a little something together. Everyone is so busy and hopefully Tiff will come home this next month. Happy Birthday Cup & Muf! I love you bunches.
