Adoption Yard Sale

I am so excited to have a fundraiser this Saturday June 5th at my house. I am truly blessed to have a HUGE room and a half of donations. I pray it is a big success and that we have good weather it has been a little crazy weather wise. I am so blessed to have many friends and family to have made donations. It is so sweet to have everyone donate to bring me closer on this Adoption Journey. Kennedy gave me $10.00 from her piggy bank. Isn't that the sweetest thing. I heard Gwen Oatsvall's Family say, " God funds what he favors." I truly believe that with all my heart and I just truly believe the road may be long and hard, but it will so be worth it when I see that precious baby. I am gonna pray for a good turnout and good weather cross your fingers and say a prayer too.

LONG TIME.....NO BLOG?

Usually, when people refer to "March Madness" they mean basketball, but for me March was very hectic, very full of emotions and very rewarding. It is very hectic at work and very trying I have alot of responsiblity and sometimes take on too much. That is just my nature, but I am trying to leave it at the door. I am hoping I can really do that sooner than later. March is always very challenging for me because some of the most important people to me have birthdays. We celebrated Jacob turning 7, Ella turning 5, Aunt Di's birthday, and Granny turning 86. We of course all gathered at the Community Center and had a very delicious meal and cake. There was an excellent turnout 50 people. What a special lady she is to so many. Truly I enjoy her so much she is so much fun. Tiff, Butter, and Quigley made the Road Trip for Granny's party in her van. Yes, that is not a typo my sister is a minivan owner. She, Matt and the dogs love it. Cup and Muf even got to ride in it to Aunt Rindy's for a dinner.
I got to spend my Easter with Granny we went to Church and then had a very nice lunch. I came back before Daddy's and became a big girl and am mowing my own yard. I am saving every penny I can so I can get my adoption fund growing. I have really been thinking and doing alot of praying not sure where God will lead me just know that He knows where. He knows how badly my heart aches to be a Mommy. I am still fundraising I need to come up with a short sleeved shirt. And, hope to in June have a Yard Sale everyone is cleaning out stuff and sending it my way. I am humbled and appreciate it. Brice even donated some jerseys and xbox games how sweet is that. He asked me if I was getting a girl or a boy. I said probably a girl he said he really wants a boy for our family. Maybe I will go twice or will I get the twins I always wanted?
Although I am happy to see Spring come it is always a hard time of year its my Mom's birthday and when she passed away so I am always feeling all sorts of kind a ways. I hope she would be proud of Tiff and I because I am and will forever be grateful to her for showing what true and unconditional love truly is all about. I am reminded of her often and not a day goes by that I don't think I was so blessed to have her as my mother.

A Full Basket

Muf saying "Oh know what is Cup into now!"
Cup loves a basket more than anything!

It's a tough job being me!

My Muf needs a spa day!

I usually don't have to worry about what the girls are doing because they are usually at my feet. When there is trouble I hear Cup gallop like a stallion across the hardwood floors and make a quick dash under my bed and Muf comes to tell me there is trouble. But this morning I had my Muf, but couldn't find Cup and walked by her twice before I saw her in the toy basket. I had to laugh and get the camera real quick to snap her picture. It's the simple things in life that bring so much joy. I love them so much!!!

LOVE BUGS

"CUPCAKE CUTIES"

I LOVE my Muffin Moore

Oh No Cup Blinked!!!

Muf was very excited and started breaking in her new toy.

Cup was too she kept rolling around and tossing her new friend.

Sisters and Best Friends

I would say Valentine's Day is not quite my favorite holiday. But I have a puppy named Cupcake so some time of participation is required. Last week I saw these toys but decided against them trying to control expenses so I can raise money for my adoption. When I left work today I saw them and they were the last two left and thought they must come home and live with there new friends Cup and Muf.

BIG SNOW.....

Can you Believe how much snow we got.....
Blanket of snow.....It was so deep!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Muf was not very excited the first day, but got used to it eventually

Ready to go out in the snow

Checking out what is going on. I shoveled us out a path it helped out some.

I can't remember when we ever got this much snow. It was very good packed down kind snow. The snow was up higher than Cup and Muf so I had to dig us out a path. Tiff and Matt got more ice where we got the snow. It was very challenging at work we had very little help, but we survived. I was just thankful to make it safely through this snow since last year wasn't very successful.

CROSS FOR A CAUSE SHIRTS

Well Operation Adoption fundraising has hit the ground running slowly but surely. I always loved "The Little Engine that Could" as a child. I got a new batch of long sleeved "Cross for a Cause" shirts in to sell. I am very excited and overcome with emotion in general. I have so much hope and know I have to start off small but hope and pray this fundraising will be well received. You can place an order here or if are local call or email me I have 40 long sleeved shirts to sell please help me reach this goal and raise awareness for Adoption. I hope to middle of February start an order for short sleeved ones because I have already had some interest with those. Thank You to all that have ordered already. I can't wait to see what this year brings.

CHRISTMAS AT DADDY'S

I forgot to rotate this picture, but I had to put it on here. We had trouble getting the star to stay on straight, but Brice used scotch tape to fix it.

Daddy got a new TV for Xmas

Brice striking a pose!

Oh No! Another Papa in the making!

My Lindsey is 18 years old! Where did the time go?

Brice was very excited here! I know he is 16 years old, but I still see that sweet little baby boy!

My Hannah age 13 and looking way to grown!

Jacob age 6 look at that cutie!

And last but certainly not least Ella age 4 the littlest, but she made me so proud this year with her new baby "Casey" although Tiff insisted she change the name. I am so proud that she loves everyone no matter what! Big things really do come in small packages.

Tiff & Jacob with his cool new helmet from Aunt Tiff.

Papa & Hannah

We even had a visit from "Tinkerbell."

Rindy won the card contest again this year. Two years in a row I am thinking she has rigged the competition. Sarah and Billy won in their respective catergories. Maybe I will have a shot next year. That is always and will always be other than being with family my favorite part of Christmas. ( Starting to sound a little like Daddy, there oh well don't really have a fighting chance I already look like him!)

Me and My Lindsey love her new glasses! I did miss Dan, but they are together now on a ski trip with his entire family!

Aunt Tiff and her Lindsey

Look how big they all are getting!

Everyone decided they needed to break in Ella's new crown. It got a little hectic and I forgot to get the rest of the family, but here is Lindsey

Brice

Hannah

This Christmas I am so thankful that my entire family got to come home for Christmas. I think it was extra special to spend Granny's 85th Christmas with her. What an amazing woman and the highlight is always getting together for dinner with her and her entire family. We had a good turnout I meant to count, but was not feeling good. I have a feeling she did count though that little cutie. I had such a good visit with her on the way to Daddy's. I hope I am half as cool as she is at 85. I hope everyone had a great holiday season.
